I created this painting as a symbol of our country's aspiration for peace. I used the colors of both country's flags: the Ukrainian flag and Moldovan's flag .

The red poppies are known as a symbol of remembrance of those who gave their life in the war, eternal love and consolation. Likewise, the poppy is a common symbol that has been used to represent everything from peace to death. While white doves are an international symbol of peace, they are symbolic of new beginnings, fidelity, love, luck and prosperity. Their release is a tradition that has been making ceremonies, rituals and celebrations more powerful and meaningful for thousands of years.

Often called the staff of life, wheat is a long-standing symbol of fertility, bounty and resurrection.
